Today: SimpleTradeLog is built for Interactive Brokers trade reports via .tlg and activity statement .csv. Other exports (like .ofx/.qfx) aren’t supported yet.
Locally on your machine. Trades and deposits/withdrawals are stored on your computer and are not uploaded to our servers. Your account, license status, and billing state are handled by the API.

The desktop app supports English, German, and French.
If you already have Claude CLI or Codex CLI installed and signed in, SimpleTradeLog can use your own local CLI to review selected realized trades and suggest patterns, playbooks, and daily risk rules. SimpleTradeLog does not bundle an AI provider or send trades to our servers for this feature.
Yes. Realized performance metrics are computed from the trades you import and include fees.

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the customer portal.
Yes. You can export a backup JSON from inside the app and import it later (for example when moving to a new computer).
No. Your trades and cashflows stay local, but you still need an account and occasional online access for login, license validation, and billing.
Yes. Licenses are intended for one computer at a time, but you can transfer the license using a one-time code.
